Step One in Alcoholics Anonymous

Admitted we were powerless over alcohol—that our lives had become unmanageable.

Step One in Living Free

I now see [admit] that I, of myself, am powerless, unable to control [manage] my life by myself.

If you want to live a sober, successful, and fulfilled life you must be willing to lay aside your life and let Christ live through you.

Luke 9:24-25
