Step One thought and scripture – Day 22.

Step One in Alcoholics Anonymous

Admitted we were powerless over alcohol—that our lives had become unmanageable.

Step One in Living Free

I now see [admit] that I, of myself, am powerless, unable to control [manage] my life by myself.

We need to come to a point in our life where we acknowledge that our life is not our own. We need to put plans and processes in place in our life but it is God that maps out our life!

Jeremiah 10:23

New Living Translation (NLT)

Jeremiah’s Prayer

23 I know, LORD, that our lives are not our own. We are not able to plan our own course.

Proverbs 16:9

New Living Translation (NLT)

9 We can make our plans, but the LORD determines our steps.
