Step One thought and scripture – Day 16.

Step One in Alcoholics Anonymous

Admitted we were powerless over alcohol—that our lives had become unmanageable.

Step One in Living Free

I now see [admit] that I, of myself, am powerless, unable to control [manage] my life by myself.

If you want to live a long, satisfying, prosperous, and healthy life, you must first lose your will and desires and allow God’s will to work in and through you!

Luke 17:33

New Living Translation (NLT)

33 If you cling to your life, you will lose it, and if you let your life go, you will save it.
