Step Two thought and scripture – Day 17.

Step Two in Alcoholics Anonymous

Came to believe that a Power greater than our- selves could restore us to sanity.

Step Two in Living Free

I now realize that my Creator, God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, can restore me to wholeness in Christ.

Once we come to the realization that Jesus Christ is the power that will restore us to sanity, we can be assured of His unconditional love for us. He will never, ever leave us or stop loving us, even if and when we mess up or stumble.

Romans 8:35,37

New Living Translation (NLT)

35 Can anything ever separate us from Christ’s love? Does it mean he no longer loves us if we have trouble or calamity, or are persecuted, or hungry, or destitute, or in danger, or threatened with death?

37 No, despite all these things, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ, who loved us.
