Step Three thought and scripture – Day 3.

Step Three

Alcoholics Anonymous

Made a decision to turn our will and our lives over to the care of God as we understood Him.

Step Three

Living Free

I now make a conscious decision to turn my entire will and life over to the care and direction of Jesus Christ as Teacher, Healer, Savior, and Lord.

When we give our will and our life over to the care of God, we cannot take credit for anything that He accomplishes in our life. There is nothing that we can do on our own. We need to always remember that the good things in our life is a gift from God!

Ephesians 2:8-9

New Living Translation (NLT)

8 God saved you by his grace when you believed. And you can’t take credit for this; it is a gift from God. 9 Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done, so none of us can boast about it.
