Step Three thought and scripture – Day 21.

Step Three

Alcoholics Anonymous

Made a decision to turn our will and our lives over to the care of God as we understood Him.

Step Three

Living Free

I now make a conscious decision to turn my entire will and life over to the care and direction of Jesus Christ as Teacher, Healer, Savior, and Lord.

After we make the decision to give our life and will over to the care of God, we need to then allow God to work within us and through us so that we do not continue to live in the world from which we have been delivered. This transformation only happens through applying God’s word to our life!

Romans 12:1-2

New Living Translation (NLT)

Romans 12

A Living Sacrifice to God

1 And so, dear brothers and sisters, I plead with you to give your bodies to God because of all he has done for you. Let them be a living and holy sacrifice—the kind he will find acceptable. This is truly the way to worship him. 2Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.
