Step Four thought and scripture - Day 25.

Step Four

Alcoholics Anonymous

Made a searching and fearless moral inventory of ourselves.

Step Four

Living Free

Having made this decision, I now obey God’s call in Scripture to make a fearless, ethical, moral, and scriptural inventory of my entire life in order to uncover all sins, mistakes, and character defects and to make a written list of every item uncovered.

As we use God's word as our standard, we need to confess our sins while making a fearless and moral inventory. We then need to worship God and begin to let Him work in and through us.

Nehemiah 9:3 New Living Translation (NLT)

3 They remained standing in place for three hours while the Book of the Law of the Lord their God was read aloud to them. Then for three more hours they confessed their sins and worshiped the Lord their God.
