Step Four thought and scripture – Day 20.

Step Four

Alcoholics Anonymous

Made a searching and fearless moral inventory of ourselves.

Step Four

Living Free

Having made this decision, I now obey God’s call in Scripture to make a fearless, ethical, moral, and scriptural inventory of my entire life in order to uncover all sins, mistakes, and character defects and to make a written list of every item uncovered.

As we continue to make a fearless moral inventory of ourselves we need to come back to God and make Him our first love once again or make Him our first love for the first time. As we begin to do the works of God then He will begin to work in our life again!

Revelation 2:4-5 New Living Translation (NLT)

4 “But I have this complaint against you. You don’t love me or each other as you did at first![a] 5 Look how far you have fallen! Turn back to me and do the works you did at first. If you don’t repent, I will come and remove your lampstand from its place among the churches.
